Tabernacle Baptist Church is a traditional Baptist Church; however Heritage Prep School is a non-denominational school. In our Bible teaching we teach from the Scriptures and hold to the Bible as being the final authority. There are issues that we do not teach or defend in the classroom.
Heritage Prep School accepts the Step Up for Students Scholarship, AAA Scholarships Foundation, 4-C program of Orange County and Free VPK. Students that require any other help may apply for financial assistance through our Dollars for Scholars program based upon family income and financial availability.
Heritage Prep School does not provide transportation to and from the home of students at this time.
Boys - Khaki slacks made of cotton twill material (no cargo slacks). Slacks must be belted and worn at the waist.
Girls - Khaki, navy or uniform plaid skirts made of cotton twill material. Skirts must come to the knee when sitting or standing, cannot be of jean material or be tight fitting. Slits on skirts must be modest when sitting or standing.
All students - HPS navy, green or white polo shirt. Shirts will be tucked into the waistband.
All students - Closed in, leather, black or brown dress shoes or solid black (only) tennis shoes (no markings or designs of any kind). Socks need to be solid navy, green or white to match the HPS uniform shirts. Girls - if knee socks or tights are worn, they must be solid color to match uniform shirts - dark green, navy, white or solid black.
Yes, we do offer “aftercare” for each child that needs to remain at school after 2:30 PM. The cost varies upon the age of the child and the length of time the aftercare is needed.
The school hours are 8:00 AM - 2:35 PM. However, Heritage Prep School offers before and after school care from 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
Heritage Prep averages one teacher per 15 students in the classroom. The ratio varies from 8 – 11 children per teacher in classrooms with young children.
Heritage Prep School offers programs of children ages three through twelfth grade.
Heritage Prep School has a staff and lunch room to provide hot meals each day. Our cafeteria provides free balanced nutritional meals.
The preschool and VPK are accredited through NAC and have the highest rating of Gold Seal and Quality Care.
K-5 through 12th Grade are accredited through National Private Schools Accreditation Group, Inc, NPSAG
Heritage Prep School has academics that prepare and encourage the graduates to continue in their learning.
Because of this, Heritage Prep sees 90% of the graduates continue into higher learning.
