Catapult Program Awards Kim Goodspeed National Teacher of the Year

Heritage Prep's Title One Award Winner loves and inspires students

The Title 1 Program of the Orange County School System has a site at Heritage Prep School to assist any elementary children with tutoring if the students are in need and or the parents desire help for their children. This program uses Heritage Prep Curriculum and holds to the standards set forth by Heritage Prep. This site has been in place at Heritage Prep for 15 years and has assisted many young people. This service is free to Heritage Prep students. Funding is provided by Title 1, and Catapult is a division of Sylvan Learning Centers.

This year, we are pleased to announce that Ms. Kim Goodspeed was honored in Philadelphia as the National Catapult Teacher of the Year. Ms. Goodspeed tutors elementary students in both reading and math. She is a talented lady that loves her work and the children of Heritage Prep. The nomination award was presented at Heritage Prep School on Feb 7, 2012. Heritage is blessed to have Ms. Goodspeed as part of our teaching staff.
