Florida Senate vote will increase Heritage scholarships

Congratulations Heritage Prep School Parents!

The Florida Senate just voted to help you! The vote was 32-8 on House Bill 859. This Bill is an increase in the Step Up for Student scholarship. This is what it means to you:

1. Each scholarship student will now receive $4,335.00. This is an increase of $324.00. Your school tuition will reflect a deduction of $324.00!
2. Students in kindergarten through elementary no longer have to attend public school prior to receiving a scholarship; therefore, you can recommend Heritage Prep to those moving to Florida, those in home school and those in private schools.
3. Funding for the scholarship program has been increased to $229 million. This means less waiting time and more scholarships will now be available.
